We still haven’t had much snow, at least not in the North Buffalo area. I had time to get out today and shoot some photos. I wanted to make sure I was able to get some pictures before the ice coating on the trees melts. Below are the first six shots I’ve had time to process. If you have trouble viewing them in your browser (you know who you are
), click here for a slideshow. Without further ado, here’s the pics.

You’re funny (wink). Much better. My pictures were “nice” but your’s are great! I like the first one the best. It looks like a postcard.

The first one is my favorite too.

Mike, it’s a picture that can tell a story. There’s emotion in there that you captured. There’s peace of nature & there’s sadness to a lonely park bench. There’s life to it & if you stare long enough you can hear the snow touching the ground & the trees. It’s cold, so cold but with warmth coming from somewhere. It’s like being lost or waiting for answers. I feel emotion so much in that picture. Can I use your picture on my blog? Props will be given to you, of course.

What you described is what I saw when I took that picture. The loneliness of the park bench is screaming out for warm, sunny weather and the return of people. Someone else described the picture as spooky, I think that is an appropriate word to use also. If you click on the picture it will take you to the my flickr account where the picture is hosted and you’ll be able to see comments from other photography buffs. Go ahead and use the photo on your blog. When you attributed the picture, use the following url for whatever you write, it will link people back to the blog post.
