Al Gore’s Inconvenient Truth

Kudos to the Free New York Blog for posting a study from the Tennessee Center for Policy Research.  The study shows that Al Gore uses more electricity for his home than 20 average families.  He’s probably got rooftop AC units installed just incase global warming is more than just his political and social fantasy.  Here’s an excerpt from the report, check out Free New York for more.

The average household in America consumes 10,656 kilowatt-hours (kWh) per year, according to the Department of Energy. In 2006, Gore devoured nearly 221,000 kWh—more than 20 times the national average.

Last August alone, Gore burned through 22,619 kWh—guzzling more than twice the electricity in one month than an average American family uses in an entire year. As a result of his energy consumption, Gore’s average monthly electric bill topped $1,359.

Since the release of An Inconvenient Truth, Gore’s energy consumption has increased from an average of 16,200 kWh per month in 2005, to 18,400 kWh per month in 2006.

Al Gore’s hypocrisy combined with his selective use of facts and interpretation poses the real threat to society.

Uh, no, the threat is from gloabal warming. Is this an example of right-wing Deep Thinking about global warming - Al Gore has a big house, so screw it? What a load of crap.

If you want some articles with more depth just search my blog for “global warming.” This is a good article on the myth of global warming. There is nothing right-wing about my views, I have no use for the Republicans or Democrats.
