One Helluva a Game!

The Ice Bowl came and went.  You couldn’t ask for a more exciting game, perhaps a different outcome, but the game was terrific!

Below are a couple of photos taken by my 17 year old son.  He braved the cold with his brother to watch the event.  Click on the photos to display a larger version.

Ringing in the New Year - MY WAY

Today I resolve to do as little as possible.  My two sons are packed up and on their way to the Ice Bowl.  I’m going to relax in my recliner and watch it in HD.

It’s been a bit of a crazy week.  I spent last Thursday through Sunday in the hospital with a bit of an illness.  I had to convince the doctor to send me home Sunday.  Three days of laying in bed doing nothing was driving me crazy.

Last night I had about a dozen or so friends over to celebrate the New Year.  It was nice being home, surrounded by friends, while ending 2007 and ushering in 2008.

The cleanup is done from last night and the recliner beckons.

Happy New Year!
