Big Government

Rep. Brian Higgins cast his vote, and helped pass, 2 spending bills this week that keep us under the thumb of BIG GOVERNMENT. The first bill was a $27.6 billion bill that would fund the Environmental Protection Agency, the Department of Interior, the Forest Service and the Indian Health Service for the 2008 fiscal year. The second bill was a $21.4 billion bill that would fund the Department of Treasury, the Executive office, the Judiciary, the District of Columbia and independent agencies for the 2008 fiscal year.

Kudos to Rep. Randy Kuhl for voting against both spending bills.
