A local rally for Ron Paul will be held Thursday, July 21, in front of the Grover Cleveland statue outside of City Hall. Check here for the details.
Ron Paul has been somewhat of a phenomena after repeatedly winning online polls following the recent Republican presidential debates. Paul has enjoyed widespread libertarian support and now is the darling of the under 30 set. Many people have discounted Dr. Paul because he is barely registering in the mainstream polls. Those polls rely on telephone calls to gauge public opinion and the under 30 set has a large percentage of voters who rely strictly on their cellphones. That throws the results of the polls completely out of whack since they can’t even poll Paul’s largest group of supporters.
Ron Paul’s message of limited government, personal freedom, a non-interventionist foreign policy and prosperity through free-trade is resonating quite well with support growing exponentially after each debate and appearance by Paul.
Anyone who has heard Ron Paul speak will realize he is a no nonsense type of person who does exactly what he says he is going to do and bases his decisions on a set of unwavering values that are grounded in the Constitution of the United States.
Today our country is plunging into an abyss of fiscal, domestic and foreign policy mismanagement. Politicians are acting for their own self interest to the detriment of the country. Our political system has been sick and getting worse since the days of Woodrow Wilson. The first thing to do when an illness strikes is to call the doctor. Luckily, the doctor is in, that doctor is Ron Paul. Dr. Ron Paul is exactly the kind of specialist needed to rid our country of the cancer-like politics that is threatening to overtake us.
