The story being discussed was the rising and record gas prices. The “expert” was asked, “what should we do about this?” Commonsense prevailed and no misguided proposals, such as price controls, were mentioned. Instead the advice given was to quit going through drive-thrus, walk more and use less gasoline. The only way to get the price down without dire supply consequences is to lower the demand.
