John McCain jumped out of the gate playing the fear card to justify the war in Iraq.
Mitt Romney demonstrated his knowledge of Middle Eastern terminology during his effort to justify foreign aggression. He spoke of violent radical jihadists, the Caliphate and appeared to know the difference between Sh?‘a and Sunni.
Ron Paul was the only candidate making any economic sense with a plan to restore strength to our economy and freedom to individuals.
The early quote of the debate goes to Governor Mike Huckabee:
“We’ve had a Congress that spends money like John Edwards at a beauty shop.”
If you’re wondering why I am writing this early, there is a new episode of Boston Legal at 10pm. Besides, everyone knows there is only one truly qualified candidate, Republican or Democrat, who stands for liberty and economic freedom. That candidate is Ron Paul.

That is the mathematical odds for the Sabres to win this round playing from a 0-3 deficit. Statistics fails to take into account other factors and assumes both teams are equal.
Don’t bet your paycheck on the Sabres.
It is OK to cheer like hell for them!
Here is another unbelievable example of the government spending our, the taxpayers, money like drunken sailors.
Records show the Buffalo Police Department spent approximately $201,637.65 last year to pay officers for days off for giving blood.
Buffalo Police Commissioner H. McCarthy Gipson tries to justify the expenditure while being questioned.
Mychajliw: “Do you feel that’s justified to have officers off the streets, at an average of two cops per day, to donate blood?”
Gipson: “I think it is justified. Yes.”
Mychajliw: “In what capacity?”
Gipson: “How do you equate, how do you balance a life that received the blood, the life saving blood, compared to taking a day off. I don’t find it to be an equitable balance between the two.”
Donating blood is something people do on their own time without being reimbursed by the government with taxpayers’ money.
The mindset of Gipson is indefensible. Anyone who still believes the government exists to take care of them is sadly mistaken. Government takes care of itself . . . PERIOD!
I would hope that during the next round of contract negotiations that the City insists that this practice is ended immediately — without any consideration in return. We will see who’s best interest matters to Byron Brown.

Don Imus may have never intended to have an impact on the hip-hop industry, but his infamous fall from grace has shaken up the rap world as new sensitivities arise over what is played on the radio.
One month after the shock jock was fired from CBS for his comments about the Rutgers University women’s basketball team, there is intense pressure on radio and music executives to clean up the airwaves.
