Tomorrow, being Good Friday, begs for a trip to the Broadway Market. Today I am finalizing my plans for Easter Dinner and can think of no better place to procure the necessary ingredients.
The selection of fresh meats alone is reason enough to make the trip. I’m thinking of putting together a traditional Polish dinner together, including some fresh polish sausage. Another must have food item is Placek, the wonderful Polish crumb cake that is a perfect accompaniment to your morning coffee. There is no better way to start of a special day at home with family. Also on the list is come chruskici from the EM CHRUSCIKI Bakery. It is a wonderful treat for snacking.
The Market is open tomorrow from 6am to 7pm. Make sure to take a few extra dollars, you will be tempted by many of the unique offerings. Click photos for large versions.
