At 5:12 pm, when I shot the following photos, the snow was beginning to stick. Don Paul just got done telling us that this is the earliest recorded date for a lake effect snow warning. The side streets in North Buffalo are covered with slush and driving is getting a bit messy. We’ve been hearing thunder off and on for a couple of hours now.

It is 2:23 p.m. and it has been snowing for over an hour now in North Buffalo. It is 32.8 degrees outside. This is too early in the year for this crap!

Public schools are brain dead and on life support; so let’s pull the plug on them, give them a decent funeral, and let better alternatives take root and flourish.
