Purple Pictures

A photo group I belong to, BuffaloFlickr, has a fun excersie going this week. It is “6Colors, 6 Days”. Today’s color is purple. The only rules are; one photo submission per person, and it has to involve “purple”.
This is my submission for today -

Here is a link to a short slideshow of the 6 pictures I considered for my entry.

The group is made up of Buffalo photographers and is a very interesting way to compare and discuss photos.

Once again, another set of inconsistencies is exposed regarding the proposed Seneca Casino. The Seneca’s contend it is not necessary to sign a document stating they are not interested in pursuing further land purchases downtown. Today the Buffalo News has an article exposing a plan showing a downtown “footprint” several times largers than the land currently purchased for a casino.

Previously, the Senecas talked about all the “outside” money the casino would attract, even though they filed federal documents showing the vast majority of the money would be “local” money.

How much more do people need to hear before this project is put to death? Barry Snyder, and his comrades, have shown that what they say and what they plan to do are two different things.
