Buffalo News - Doors to swing open at saloon
A section of Franklin Street in downtown Buffalo could look like a scene from “Urban Cowboy” later this month when the doors of a new county-western-themed night club swing open.
Entertainment entrepreneur Mark Croce is expanding his stable of night clubs and restaurants with the Buckin’ Buffalo Saloon, a night spot embracing all things country music, at 294 Franklin St.

Carlos is a very talented musician and song writer, however, personnel policy decisions doesn’t appear to be his forte. I’ve read some pretty crazy law suits and this one ranks right up there.
In a wrongful termination suit now in San Francisco’s 1st District Court of Appeal, a former personal assistant to the Grammy-winning musician and his wife, Deborah, claims the couple made him see a chiropractor identified only as “Dr. Dan” to be tested for his “closeness to God.”

IF EVER THERE was an exercise in cowardice, it was the Supreme Court’s decision yesterday to duck the issue of whether the U.S. government has the power to detain its citizens indefinitely, without charge or trial.
The Supreme Court diminished our democracy by refusing to rule on the constitutionality of one of the most disturbing abrogations of civil liberties to have darkened the face of the American legal system since Sept. 11, 2001.
