Are you sick of the politics locally and statewide? Have you had enough of decisions being made by “3 men in a room” in Albany. Are you in favor of transparent government? Fed up with public authorities sucking money out of your pocket?
If the answer to those questions is YES, do yourself, and all taxpayers, a favor. Go to New York Coalition.Org. Here’s a quote from the website -

Buffalo News - Catholic agencies face dilemma
I don’t agree at all with the position of the Catholic Church on the issue of adoption by same-sex couples. The adoption and foster care program run by the Church exists to place children in good homes. Period. It is a program they provide out of kindness and compassion. It is not a vehicle to preach Catholic religion. No one denies the right of the Church to their views, however when their programs are tailored to religious dogma rather than the best interests of the children they purport to help, it is time to draw a line. The overwhelming majority of psychologists agree that children raised by caring, gay couples suffer no ill effects compared to being raised by heterosexual couples. If the Church can’t find it in its heart to put the children first, then something is wrong with that religion.
