Bernanke Is Upbeat About Economy - Los Angeles Times
If you read this article, it is hard to understand how the LA Times came up with the headline that Bernanke is upbeat about the economy. This guy is all over the board with his opinion, hedging his bets on nearly every point he addresses. Just a week or so ago, the headlines were reading that the economic indicators, according to Bernanke, were not good. Relying on the Fed for reliable information on the economy is an exercise in futility.
