It will be interesting to see how this view changes with the proposed development to the waterfront. My biggest concern is the amount of taxpayer’s dollars that are being tossed at this project. Realistically I can see the need for some “seed” money, however, the vast majority should be from private investors. Commercial projects should “live or die” based on their own resources and management, not through subsidies from our pockets.
